[ How long does it take for someone to just. Grab a pair of gloves? Apparently, a pretty long time considering how long Coraline’s been standing behind this dude. Honestly, he’s doing an amazing job of blocking the whole section despite being only one person. Or maybe that’s just her anxiety speaking. Both are equally likely to be honest. What if she just… reaches over and… grabs what she needs without him noticing.

Perfect plan. Nothing can go wrong. More importantly, she won’t have to talk to another stranger.

So, he’ll spot an arm clad in deep purples and a black glove reaching over his shoulder, heading for something he’s possibly been seriously eyeing??? Who knows! ]

[ LOOK, Haein is particular about the things he buys. They have to have some worth, be practical, and ultimately make it so he doesn't end up with buyer's remorse. With all this considered, it takes a while for Haein to pick out the ideal pair of gloves for the creeping cold.

And just when he thinks he's spotted a nice pair, a sudden hand that isn't his is reaching out for it!?

Haein snatches up the gloves immediately. He's not in the habit of sharing, and then he turns around to glare at... Whatever the heck he's glaring at.

He's met a lot of odd people here before, ones that aren't entirely human, but what he's detecting now from this stranger is something he can't quite understand. ]

[ WELL. THAT’S RUDE. She steps back, startled by the man’s reaction to her just… reaching for something. Like, she gets it must have been surprising but like, come on. No need to… steal? what she was getting in the first place. Also “What the hell are you?”!? Dude chill. She’s just trying to finish up her shopping. ]

[ If Haein could bristle like some kind of wild animal, he would. "Freaked" out?? Who's freaked out... Because it's definitely not him!!

There's a brief moment of silence as he recovers from his (admittedly) over-the-top reaction, and then he's holding the gloves away and out of reach, like he's expecting this weird vibes stranger to just lunge for them. ]

[ If it helps, he’s doing a great job of getting that across. She watches him… deliberate? For a moment, genuinely hoping that he’d just be reasonable and they could both be on their way. Except of course she can’t be that lucky. Seriously what is he? 6??? ]
