She's a strong woman, and Nero has no doubt the girl here is the same, but he can't help but want to reassure her somehow anyway. It's easier to do that compared to thinking of his own family back home, and the state they're in.]

Doesn't make it any easier. [He places his hands behind his head, walking alongside her but still giving her space. Thancred speaks up then, and Nero casts a glance at him, making a note of her own guard- or at least someone who's close. He doesn't assume anything here, the last few times he did he actually landed on his ass and looked like an idiot, and he'd rather not do that again.]

Yeah, no kidding. [A pause.] I've met the Priestess but she's real quiet, definitely different from what I'm used to seeing. [Another glance at the guards has them looking between the three with both curiosity and suspicion. Nero lets out a bit of a smirk at them.] Not that it's a bad thing, you two. Just different.
